Yoga for poor blood circulation

Good blood circulation is of the utmost importance for proper and optimum functioning of the body. Poor blood circulation can lead to a host of ailments and is often the result of lack of proper exercise and nutrition, excessive stress, anxiety, depression, among other factors.

Too much alcohol consumption, smoking, excessive eating or not eating enough also play a role in hampering proper blood circulation in the body.

"In one of the case studies conducted by me, it was found that mental fluctuation and lack of physical exercise are a couple of factors leading to poor blood circulation in the body. Lack of nutrition and malabsorption of minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, among other important nutrients, are other common factors that could give rise to poor blood circulation," says Yogi Anoop.
