What should you do first thing in the morning when you wake up?

What should you do first thing in the morning when you wake up?

The first thing to do as soon as you wake up is to close your eyes and remember God, and before placing your feet on the ground after getting up from the bed, touch them with your hands and pay homage. This means that you are my mother and you walk with your feet, and many unknown creatures die unknowingly through my feet. Therefore, please forgive me.

I have been seeing my mother doing this daily since childhood. The essence of this is to be grateful for whatever nature has given and to forgive any mistake indirectly through them.

This thinking is very peaceful and good towards God and nature.

In my diagnosis, I always ask each student what their first task is when they wake up in the morning, and many of them answer similarly to my mother. Some have a different answer, such as thinking about drinking water first thing in the morning, or thinking about taking their thyroid medication. Some think they are still tired and go back to sleep a little longer. Some think they need to start running in the same madness as before. Some think about what to eat for breakfast. Some think about how to manage their schedule, and they start working on planning right away.

In all the above answers, one thing is common that everyone thinks. No one is there who doesn't think anything. When I asked my son the same question, he said that he doesn't think anything. He tries to think, but he can't think of anything. This means that he sleeps so deeply that when he wakes up in the morning, his mind remains almost frozen for some time. His mind cannot become active, and his senses cannot become active either. He sits quietly, avoid speaking to anyone, peacefully for almost 30 to 40 minutes. This also means that his senses are almost relaxed and quiet.

Right now, he is only 13 years old, but as he grows older, his mind will gradually become more and more preoccupied with thoughts. His sleep will become less deep, and as soon as he wakes up, he will find himself busy thinking about something or other. If he turns towards spirituality and religion like my mother, she will do something or other, otherwise he will continue to be restless.

To understand more about this, let me give you an example. When you wake up in the morning, what information do you need? After eating, you feel satisfied with food for at least 3 to 4 hours. Your mind does not turn towards food. Your mind experiences satisfaction from food. In other words, after eating, you feel satisfied with the food you have eaten.

Similarly, when you wake up from a deep sleep at night, you should experience the satisfaction of having received peaceful sleep as soon as you wake up in the morning. Since thoughts become so empty during deep sleep that when you wake up in the morning, you start experiencing peace. In other words, as soon as you wake up, you experience it yourself. If any thought is created at that time, then one should experience peace and stability from sleep.
