Behavioural Pattern of Vata Prakriti People  


In my experience, people belonging to Vata composition as per Ayurveda tend to form relationships quickly and break them as well. Such people can be divided into three - satvik, rajasic and tamasic.

Let us go through each one of them in detail. 

People who are categorised as Vata satvik are extremely active, almost like a nomad hermit or writer. These people choose uncertainty and revel in it. They think to remain static at one place is to be like standing water which ultimately gets bad and gives rise to insects and diseases. That is why such people are always on the go - changing cities, even countries and working for the benefit of society. Some of the examples of such people would include Gautam Buddha, Kabir, Guru Nanaka, et cetera. Point to be noted, though these noble souls never stayed in one place, spiritually they were always immovable, stable and centred. 

When it comes to relationships, such people, by default, don't form deep relationships with anyone. They are so magnetic that people are drawn toward them, wanting to be associated with them. Such people spread fragrance in society.  

Rajasic vata people are seen in the positions of heads of state, preachers or businessmen. To some degree, they like to seek some stability but the nature of their work and circumstances don't let them. The public will never choose someone selfish, the public chooses only those who can connect with them. In politics, there have been many leaders who came across as saintly - selfless, the epitome of truth and justice. Such people belong to the Rajasic vata category. Some examples of such leaders include Lord Krisna, Chanakya and Mahatma Gandhi.   

Tamasik vata people are the ones who turn into thieves, criminals, robbers. They are never stable and are always on the run for all the wrong reasons and purposes. This is one of the biggest reasons why such people do not live for long.
