Unconscious Habits Revealed

"Unconscious Habits Revealed: Why People Chew or Move Their Feet and How it Affects their Mind and Body"

There are many people who keep something in their mouth and move their jaws. If an attempt is made to understand the nature of such individuals, it becomes known that their thought process is so intense that in order to avoid it, the mind is diverted towards something else. When the cells or nerves of the brain become disturbed due to an excess of thoughts, the mind diverts itself to another place. This diversion gives the brain some rest because some exercise is still going on inside the brain while it is being diverted. The basic meaning of this is that in order to avoid producing too many thoughts through the mind, the mind puts a little burden on another sense. This helps to control the mind. However, it should be noted that this is not a solution. This does not give peace to the mind. In fact, in the long run, the mind becomes restless and numerous diseases start to arise in the body, such as diabetes, gastric problems, hypertension, chronic headaches, overweights, and so on.

People who sit in one place also move their feet without realizing it. The main reason for this is that when the sensory organs responsible for eating are always active, the movement of hands and feet becomes natural. The truth is that its soul feels that food is going into the stomach, even if the person is just moving their mouth. That's why the inner self starts making the hands and feet move to digest the fake food.

If you watch this for a long time, the person's stomach gradually produces more acidity than necessary, which can lead to problems. Not only acidity, but the entire body's system gradually becomes confused, and ultimately, the person has to rely on medications to live.

The only way to avoid this is to understand your own life well and discipline your senses. It is the duty of a person to teach all the senses when to do what. If you can't do it yourself, then at least you should seek the protection of a guru so that our life can be full of happiness.

Here are some recommendations that should be followed -

  • Practice mindfulness meditation: Instead of distracting your mind with other activities, try to focus on your breath and present moment. Mindfulness meditation has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and improve overall mental health. Deeper concentration span will give self satisfaction more and then sensual stillness become increased.

  • Involve yourself in physical activities: Regular yogic practices help increase deeper satisfaction with muscles and senses.

  • Eat a healthy diet and with full of taste: ultimately we need to increase our mental experiences with body and sensual glands. When deeper taste develops, senses automatically get relaxed.

  • Get enough sleep: Adequate sleep is essential for physical and mental health. It is recommended to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

  • Seek spiritual help: If you are struggling with managing your thoughts and emotions, seek any experienced guru’s help. A guru or counsellor can help you develop coping skills and manage stress effectively.

  • Practice relaxation techniques: Engage in activities such as yoga, pranayama, meditation, or any other form of meditation which bring peace of mind.

  • Limit screen time: Excessive use of technology can lead to stress and anxiety. Limit your screen time and take frequent breaks to avoid eye strain and mental fatigue.

  • Develop a hobby: Engage in activities that you enjoy, such as painting, gardening, or playing a musical instrument. It helps to reduce stress and improves overall well-being.
