The Importance & Secret Of Human’s Navel Energy 

The energy of the navel or Nadi is so potent that it can be used in many ways to help people and society. Its misuse can even be very dangerous. The navel energy is situated right at the centre of the stomach, right below the belly button. This energy is located in the compressed form in the Manipura chakra. If its channel is opened by mistake, without the supervision of a guru, it can prove to be fatal. 

That's why people like Lord Ram, Shri Krishna and Pandavas were kept in some Gurukul. That is because whatever power and energy is generated through concentration, it should be compressed through moral knowledge. Shri Ram was Surya Mukhi, in spite of this, the force of morality was very strong in him. Probably because of this he could face a huge army like Ravana's.   

Infinite powers were awakened in Shri Ram's navel, he used the explosive energy of that navel with the help of Vayu (Hanuman). Without Air, the expansion of Agni (energy or Fire) is not possible. That is why the association of Hanuman ji to Shri Ram was fruitful. Lord Hanuman is the symbol of Air, son of the Lord of air, Pawan suta. That is why no one could stop the fierce energy generated by the ultimate friendship between Agni (Rama) and Vayu (Hanuman).

 

However, the combination of Air and Fire or Agni (energy) must be under check, otherwise, it may lead to infernos and wildfires. Both of them listen only to knowledge. That is, their speed can be controlled only through knowledge. 

 

Patience can be brought in both Fire and Air through Knowledge. Otherwise, that patient  Air (Wind) and Fire can become a storm and destroy the common people, as happened with Ravana. The fire and wind hidden inside him gave him an uncontrollable drive. His senses were unbridled because the one who gave him knowledge, that is, he abandoned Vibhishana.

Ravana's wife and his brother Vibhishana wanted to rein in his super-energetic mind on the path of knowledge and morality, but he disrespected both of them. Always keep learning to control this energy of your body and mind with knowledge, otherwise, it does not take long for them to become unbridled and uncontrollable.

That is why Ravana was destroyed. As it is known that all the power of Ravana was in the navel, fire was there but he misused that energy through air. And he failed when Vibhishana, the brother who gave knowledge, wanted to inculcate moral knowledge in Ravana by doing knowledgeable things so that the heat of that unlimited energy could be quenched. Because only when the energy of the body is calm, does it become fruitful, otherwise it kills itself by making the body sick. That is why the control of navel energy should always be done by knowledge.

This is possible only when you start feeling the breath going in and out after being calm, then this air is controlled and compresses all that navel energy and makes it sit in the same Manipura chakra. From time to time, it keeps giving energy to the body and mind as per the requirement. Ultimately it was proved that cognitive experience is the ultimate solution to give direction to fire and air, therefore, dhyana and pranayama become important tools in this direction.  

If the moral knowledge is strong then the wind/air does not get out of control, otherwise, it does not take long to get out of control. Hanuman ji, who is the symbol of air, used to accept Shri Ram as Lord, that is why his energy had a direction.
