The Illusion of Completeness

"The Illusion of Completeness: Why the Spiritual Journey is Inward"

Many people say that a drop of water becomes infinite when it merges with the ocean or sea, and only then does it become complete.

But what use is it to any living being in the sea that only has saline water? The poor drop must travel so far to meet the saline water, it cannot quench anyone's thirst nor become complete.

Furthermore, the sea is not infinite. I believe that if the same drop evaporates and rises to the sky, it will become complete, and return as rain.

All of these examples are foolish and have no meaning for human spiritual progress. The progress of a human being is only and only through understanding oneself. When one understands oneself, their part of the race slows down, and they become stable. The word "journey" no longer holds any meaning in their life.

Now, happiness comes not from stimulating the senses but from stabilizing them.

How will all of this happen? It will not happen by racing towards it. It will only happen by stopping. When you stop, then think about yourself. When you keep racing, you will not get a chance to think about yourself. The mind will stop only when the experience of oneself happens.

However, in my own experience, there is no need for a physical journey to understand oneself.
