Root Cause Of Constipation & Gastritis

There is a grave misconception that the sole reason for constipation or anything tied to the digestive system is the dies or food that we eat. About 80 percent of such issues are tied to either irritation of the intestines or stress and depression.


Those who are guilty of sucking in their stomach to show themselves as fit or thin are usually the ones who fall prey to intestinal and digestive issues. If you feel that your stomach is always sucked in and not in a normal state, you must pay attention to it. If the issues of digestion and constipation are not checked, it may lead to more serious issues later on in life. 


All in all, the point that I am trying to make is that if you keep sucking in your stomach, you are bound to fall prey to stomach issues. 


Stress and depression are also tied to gut health. The stomach has a close association with the stomach, therefore, prolonged spells of stress and anxiety can take a toll on the digestive system as well. Below, I am going to talk about a few yoga asanas and exercises that may help promote gut health.


Chair Pose

Details are given to you in the video. Such a distance should be made between both the feet so that there is no tension on the knees. Knees and ankles should be exactly at 90 degrees. After that, the body has to be taken slowly downwards and slowly upwards. By doing this there should be tension in the muscles of the thighs.


While doing this Kriya, the mind and the senses should be relaxed and calm, there should not be any unnecessary tension in it. This Kriya has to be done for 3 minutes but should be done only under the guidance of an experienced Guru.


Thigh Muscles Pumping

I call the muscles of the thighs the second abdomen, with the help of its pumping, the tension and cramping inside the stomach can be loosened.

Thigh muscle pumping involves relaxing the thigh muscles. In this pumping action, an attempt is made to loosen the abdominal muscles through the pumping of the muscles of the thighs. If it is practised before sleeping and done in the morning, then constipation can be resolved.


Note that one needs to be committed to health, pay attention to diet, sleep and manage stress well along with practising regular physical exercise.
