We often come across tales of people who are capable of telling us about our past. Then we think that if they are able to tell us about our past, they can very well predict our future as well. I like to steer clear of most such people who claim to predict the past or future, however, I do believe that those who have invested in themselves, meditated and are great saadhaks, have the ability to tell a great deal about the nature of persons. Just by understanding someone's nature, character and personality, a lot can be judged about the past and what is to come, isn't it?
Earlier, gurus, saints and sages were blessed with this capability. For example, by looking at Lord Rama's virtues and strength of character, his gurus could predict that he will be a great leader and warrior - compassionate, valiant, virtuous and righteous. It is precisely how during Vedic times, saints and gurus could tell their disciples or pupils what course of action they must take in the future.
The same is true for Yudhisthir as well. His guru could tell that he will be righteous and that the virtue of his truth will be world-renowned. His nature was known even to his enemies.
On the contrary, there are people as playful as rivers yet they turn out to be committed towards their purpose and karma. Such people are unpredictable and saying anything about their future becomes difficult. Shri Krishna was among such great people. These people are so focused on the purpose that the means to realise the outcome doesn't matter a lot. On the contrary, those who are driven by righteousness and dharma are always mindful of choosing the correct path to achieve some purpose. Such people are hard to defeat, in fact, they see every setback as an experience, an opportunity to add more to their character.
The impact of the sun and moon have a great bearing on shaping a person's character. Shri Krishna's mind was more attracted to the moon while Shri Ram's character was more predictable. His character was attracted to the Sun. There is very little change in the Sun. But the intensity of change on the Moon is very fast. That's why it is not easy to understand those people whose mind is more controlled by Moon, if they have very negative views then they become a problem for the gurus also. But it is very easy to tell the past and future of those whose brain is more governed by the Sun.
