Disciple: Yogi Anoop ji, can you please explain to me the meaning of prayer?
Yogi Anoop: Of course. The basic meaning of prayer is to talk to oneself. When everything is infinite, then why pray? Because the meaning of infinite is that everything is the same. What it created, it is also the same. It created all living beings, and it exists within all of them, not just present but it is the same.
Disciple: So, are you saying that God is present in everything, including all living beings and non-living things?
Yogi Anoop: Not exactly. People believe that God is present in all animate and inanimate things. If that is the case, then why the need for prayer? Because it is present in everything, and when it is present, then it is also present in you and you are also God.
Disciple: I am still a little confused. If God is present in everything, why do we need to pray?
Yogi Anoop: In my own experience, prayer is a means of expressing those emotions to oneself that we generally cannot express in front of others. It is not possible to express all the thoughts that come to our mind, but when we start suppressing them, the only way to release them is to keep our cards in front of God, that is, to explain ourselves to ourselves. A person who prays does not understand that they are talking to themselves, but the truth is that they are engaged in healing themselves. They are talking to themselves.
Disciple: I see. So, prayer is a way of expressing our emotions and healing ourselves.
Yogi Anoop: Yes, exactly. Prayer allows us to connect with our inner selves and express our deepest emotions without any fear of judgment. It is a way of finding inner peace and achieving a sense of calmness within ourselves.
Disciple: That makes sense. Thank you, Yogi Anoop, for explaining the concept of prayer to me in such a clear and concise manner.
Yogi Anoop: You're welcome. Remember, the most important aspect of prayer is not about who you are praying to, but about the act of prayer itself. It is a way of connecting with yourself and finding inner peace.
