I don’t Have Time For Self

"When you wake up in the morning, all your senses become restless. Your eyes and ears start searching for scenes on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Your tongue starts looking for tea and biscuits. You start running to find something to eat. Your hands, feet, and backside are just sitting there, and if you ask them to move, they will give you an excuse of lack of time."

This Yogi Anoop’s quote highlights the common habits of many people in the morning. The author notes that upon waking up, our senses become restless, and we immediately start seeking external stimulation. Our eyes and ears search for scenes on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, while our tongue seeks out the taste of tea and biscuits. We may even start running to find something to eat.

However, the author suggests that while our minds and senses are busy seeking external stimulation, our physical bodies remain inactive. Our hands, feet, and backside are still and unmoving, and if we try to get them to move, we may use lack of time as an excuse.

Overall, this quote encourages us to be mindful of our habits and behaviours in the morning. Instead of immediately seeking external stimulation, we can take a few moments to stretch or move our bodies and set positive intentions for the day ahead. By doing so, we may find that we are more present, focused, and energised throughout the day.
