The body has a natural process to burn fat (adipose tissue), which is more effective and balanced. This process works best when the body is allowed to function naturally. In contrast, when we starve it through sheer willpower or put it under pressure with excessive physical exertion, this process gets disrupted. To better understand this, it is essential to consider two approaches.
First approach: Burning fat through willpower and force
This method is adopted when a person suddenly changes their eating habits. Fasting, having long intervals between meals, eating very small portions, or doing excessive physical exercises fall under this category. In this process, a person forces their body to starve and work harder through sheer willpower.
Initially, this method seems to work, but it has serious side effects. It increases the burden of stress on the mind, as the body is not functioning naturally. The mind constantly tries to control the body, leading to mental fatigue and stress. Prolonged application of this method increases the risk of depression and mental weakness. This process is dangerous because it does not allow the body to utilize its natural capacity. As a result, after a few months, the individual’s willpower starts to break down, and eating habits return to their previous state. This is why this method does not provide sustainable results for the body in the long term.
Second approach: Burning fat naturally through relaxation
In this approach, the body is given the opportunity to burn its fat naturally. The main focus of this process is on relaxation. When the body and mind are in a deep state of relaxation, the desire to eat naturally decreases. During this time, the liver and other organs regain their energy, reducing the habit of frequent eating. After eating once, hunger is not felt for 8 to 12 hours. When there is a long gap between meals, the body starts converting stored fat (adipose tissue) into energy.
This process becomes even more effective through meditation and relaxation techniques. It not only calms the mind but also provides the body with a chance to naturally burn its fat. A significant benefit of this approach is that it promotes mental peace while also enhancing the body’s immunity.
Is this method really effective?
Ancient yogis and meditation practitioners followed this technique. Instead of starving their bodies or overexerting themselves, they focused on balancing their mental and physical states. When the mind is calm, all the organs in the body function without interference. The liver and other organs rejuvenate their energy and begin converting stored fat into energy.
Through this process, the body naturally starts burning its fat. Eating twice a day with a gap of 12-15 hours gives the body time and opportunity to naturally burn fat. This not only reduces unnecessary pressure on the body but also helps in developing its inherent capabilities.
Why is the relaxation-based method better?
This method keeps the body free from unnecessary pressure and enhances its natural capabilities. When the body utilizes its own potential, it maintains balance on both mental and physical levels. Just as one feels peace and happiness after waking from deep sleep, relaxation also brings calmness and energy to both body and mind.
This method is entirely natural and sustainable, eliminating the risk of any mental disorders in the future. If you want to control your fat, instead of starving yourself or over-exercising, adopt relaxation-based techniques. Through meditation and mental peace, not only can fat be controlled, but balance, health, and happiness can also be achieved in life.
