How Senses' Behaviour Affects Health.

How Senses' Behaviour Affects Health.

Yoga is a method that I have seen from the perspective of spiritual healing. I have used it in physical, mental, and spiritual illnesses and have cured thousands of sick individuals. Through my research, I have discovered that the root of problems is hidden within the innermost self. Although modern science attributes the root cause of many diseases to genetics, they believe that the disease of the patient is inherited from their parents and ancestors.

If I speak from a spiritual perspective, the root cause of the patient's disease is obtained from their own nature. Their senses, mind, and intellect are undeveloped to some extent, which leads to the emergence of the disease and its adverse effects on their body. If the intellect and senses do not develop as age progresses, then one can witness a terrible impact on the body.

That is why I perceive these senses as vehicles. If these vehicles are misused in performing any action, it implies that in the future, there is a definite possibility of physical and mental illnesses. Here, the discussion is not about good or bad deeds, or good or bad thoughts.

The fundamental truth is how the behavior of the senses should be while performing any action. If the mind and senses are kept under appropriate control in the present, then when encountering any kind of scenes or subjects, there will be no suffering or harm. When entering into the depths of external objects through the medium of the senses, if there is no harm inflicted, it directly means that its adverse effect on the body will be minimal. In such a state, the senses and body will be protected from diseases.

As an example, this can be observed. Muni Tarun Sagar Ji was a great practitioner. They were in the form of scriptures of noble thoughts, but the biggest problem was that during their discourses, there was a rapid rise and fall of intensity in their senses. This rise and fall were so intense in their throat and eyes that it had adverse effects on their body. Their body became emaciated, and eventually, they succumbed to illness and left their body.

Note that there is no question mark on their knowledge here. They were enlightened beings, and the adverse effects of bodily ailments did not affect them. However, the discussion here is about the distribution of their knowledge.

During their speeches and satsangs, an excessive strain was put on their senses, which resulted in an unnecessary pressure and tension in their throat. This is the reason why their body succumbed to illness.

The same thing happened with Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Ji and Swami Vivekananda Ji as well. Once again, I would like to emphasize that we are not discussing the scope of their knowledge here. We are discussing the movement and behaviour of their senses.

The main point is that the movement of the senses should be very good. I have also seen many bad people whose senses are almost functioning properly, and they are living a long life.

In the end, it is evident that there should not be excessive rise and fall in these five senses. Keep them relaxed and calm. This should become their habit so that there is no excessive attachment in their memory.
