Constipation and Burping: An In-Depth Analysis of Mental and Physical Balance
Constipation and burping (belching) are not the same issues. When burping increases, constipation tends to reduce, and when constipation becomes severe, the likelihood of burping decreases. These two problems never peak simultaneously. However, they are deeply connected to our mental state and emotional health. Particularly, anxiety and excessive mental activity contribute to the aggravation of these problems.
The Interconnection Between Mental and Physical Health
People who are unable to properly express their emotions and problems put unnecessary pressure on their digestive system. The intestines, which are designed to hold material, function with limited capacity. When thoughts and emotions are suppressed, the intestines and rectum become stressed.
• The breathing process is quick, whereas digestion occurs slowly. This increases the possibility of “holding” in the digestive system.
• Those who suppress their emotions experience imbalances in Apana Vayu and Samana Vayu, which negatively affect both the body and the mind.
The Impact of Not Expressing Emotions
Hesitation and guilt significantly affect both mental and physical health.
An Example: A woman from Andhra Pradesh shared her problem but concealed several details. Eventually, she revealed that the person she was referring to was her husband, who was sitting next to her. This clarified that the issue was deeply rooted within her. Her hesitation and incomplete expression made her problem more complex.
• The Real Problem: The inability to share emotions and problems leads to strained relationships and physical ailments.
• In-Depth Analysis of the Problem: When people do not present their issues properly, it impacts their confidence and mental health. Overthinking and excessive emotional stress can be visibly seen on their face and senses.
Managing Stress and Anxiety
The following methods can help in managing stress and anxiety:
1. Express Your Emotions: Share your problems with someone you trust.
2. Practice Yoga and Meditation: These help in calming the mind and body.
3. Relax Your Senses: Loosen your jaw, relax your eyes, and take deep breaths to reduce stress.
4. Deep Training: Regularly train your body and mind to relax.
Note: Most Problems Are Not Actual Diseases
Around 70-80% of physical issues are not actual diseases. They are caused by mental stress and the unnecessary pressure it places on the body.
A Personal Experience:
Due to my stress, the Udan Vayu in my body increased significantly. The burping was so intense that people mistook the sounds for those of an animal. However, this was not a sign of illness but a result of physical and mental imbalance. Through mental and physical exercises, I was able to manage and resolve the issue.
Medications Are Not the Ultimate Solution
Medications offer only a temporary solution to such problems. Even external treatments, including Ayurvedic medicine, do not show significant impact in resolving such issues completely.
For a Complete Solution: It is essential to release and calm the tension in the mind, brain, and diaphragm.
Yoga and Meditation: Not Alternatives, but Essentials
Yoga and meditation should not be considered alternative remedies. The truth is, they are the primary solutions. They are highly effective in balancing the mind, brain, and body. These practices improve sleep quality, mental peace, and overall life quality.
