If you understand the root cause of the problem of a displaced navel and the importance of Kapalbhati pranayama, it will be easy to understand whether it can be done to correct the displaced navel or not.
Based on my 40 years of experience, I am mentioning some of the causes of the displaced navel. These include the imbalance of air in the middle of the stomach, excess acidity and gas, depression, anxiety, and excessive worry. These mental and physical factors can increase the risk of a displaced navel.
If we look closely and with great detail, Kapalbhati pranayama cannot eliminate all these causes. This pranayama only ignites the fire in the sinus area, which leads to detoxification of the body.
Two things are noteworthy here:
The first way to detoxify the body is to create heat in the body.
The second way is to give the body and mind a substance that does not produce heat in the body but causes detoxification.
Therefore, Kapalbhati Pranayama is a practice through which extreme heat is generated in the body and detoxification begins. However, there are also many dangers in this practice. Therefore, extreme caution is necessary when practicing it. Due to the heat generated in the navel during such practices, problems related to the navel also increase.
However, the type of pranayama and physical exercise that stabilizes the mind does not produce fire in the navel area of the body in large amounts. It creates fire in the navel area in a balanced amount, which gradually produces tissue formation in the body. Its use in the body is so slow that it does not increase the emotional restlessness in the mind.
On the other hand, pranayamas such as Kapalbhati and Bhastrika Pranayama, which quickly produce heat in the body, start producing tissue formation in the body very quickly and at the same time increase restlessness in the mind. By practicing these pranayamas, the desire for sex starts to arise very quickly, which increases mental agitation and leads to frustration. Along with this, the likelihood of an increase in pitta and acid also increases, which increases the chances of poor health in the long run.
Therefore, I do not recommend doing such pranayama that eliminates the navel.
