Benefits of Kapalbhati

Benefits and Areas of Influence of Kapalbhati Pranayama

As I have mentioned earlier, Kapalbhati activates heat in the area of the cranium and sinus region and is especially effective in people who suffer from phlegm and cough. The absorption of oxygen is maximum in a person when there is a limit of humidity in this empty area and his senses are not able to slow down.

In my experience, the emptying of the sinus area does not mean a mistake made by nature, the basic truth is that it regulates the temperature of the senses (eyes, ears, nose, throat, etc.). That is because there is a constant effect of oxygen along with humidity in it. It is because of that prana that the senses are always alert. The amount of water and phlegm should not increase too much in this empty space. If it increases too much, then the absorption of oxygen decreases. That is why people with such a nature not only have problems related to the area of the sinuses, but also start experiencing issues related to throat, digestion and lungs.

  • All the senses start slowing down when the amount of water in the sinus empty space increases more than required. As there are obstacles in the flow of oxygen inside the nostrils. From the nostrils to the throat, all the subtle nerves start to lose awareness, due to which the ability to smell ends and the self-satisfaction that comes through the breath starts decreasing. The practice of Kapalbhati Pranayama increases the effect of heat in this area, so that all these problems do not occur.

  • When the amount of water in the sinus gap increases more than necessary, the eyes start feeling discomfort. The effect of water in the eyes starts increasing. When the effect of water in the eyes increases more than necessary, emotional absorption through the eyes increases. Due to the slightest sorrow in such people, the eyes start releasing tears immediately. That's why people are found crying at the drop of a hat. All these problems can be avoided when Kapalbhati Pranayama is practised under proper guidance.

  • Due to the excess of water in the sinus area, the ear also starts getting affected. In many people, ears start running and hearing becomes less than that. The eardrums start tearing.

  • As far as the throat is concerned, there are too many side effects. The throat always remains dry, the effect of phlegm and mucus remains. There is continuous phlegm in the throat. The solution to this problem is also possible with Kapalbhati Pranayama because in this technique the practice is done from the throat to the nostrils.

  • In my own experience, not only do external problems surround a person, but it also leads to emotional problems. Even the lack of energy becomes so much that the chances of a person going into depression increase. He is always scared. This is due to lack of heat in almost all the senses. I have also seen the problem of this area improve with the practice of Kapalbhati.

  • Similarly, serious diseases like cancer are also seen more in people of emotional and anxious nature. It is difficult to detect such problems in the beginning in such people because there is so much laxity in their senses and body that they are not able to tell the brain about the diseases that develop inside them. The sensors that tell the diseases of such people almost stop working, that is why they are not able to perceive the serious diseases growing inside them. Along with this, the internal immunity power (heat) is also very less in such people through which they can eliminate the diseases that develop.

It is possible to solve all these above problems with the practice of Kapalbhati Pranayama because this practice brings back energy to all the senses by generating heat in the same area. When heat comes to all the senses, they become active again and solve the problems not only in the front part of the brain but also in the lungs and intestines.

However, no yoga asana, pranayama, breathing technique or any form of exercises are to be practised without supervised guidance of a certified guru.
